BYRON BAY music festival Spendour in the Grass has never really showcased the height of fashion, but this year punter style dropped to all new lows.
Festival goers at the three-day mess paraded around in less clothing than ever before with sticky taped nipples, see-through dresses and glitter where clothes should normally be all the rage.
Anti-fashion was a popular look with bodysuits, oversized fur jackets, body stickers, fishnet stockings and underwear as outerwear worn liberally by the risque crowd.
But it was glitter that reigned supreme with women lining up at the ‘Glitoris’ body art tent to have their breasts covered in glitter all in the name of rocking the ‘disco boobs’ trend.
Around 35,000 people attended each day of the festival which wrapped up last night.
The music festival kicked off in the North Byron Parklands on Friday and ended with acts including Haim, Queens of the Stone Age and Sigur Ros.
The xx, Queens of The Stone Age, LCD Soundsystem, Haim and a surprise performance from Powderfinger were some of the performance highlights.
