Desperate search for Megan Gale’s older brother underway

The brother of supermodel Megan Gale has not been seen for a week since he bought petrol at a service station outside of Perth.

Supermodel Megan Gale’s family are working with authorities after brother Jason was reported missing from his Perth home.

Gale, 44, has not spoken since West Australian Police issued an alert seeking information from the public to locate Jason Gale on Friday.

“The Gale family are kindly asking for their privacy to be respected during this time while they work closely with the authorities to locate Jason,” a statement from Megan’s management representative read on behalf of the family. “They thank everyone for their support especially Jason’s neighbours, close friends and work colleagues who have been assisting. The family will be making no further comment at this time.”

Megan Gale grew up in the Kwinana area of Western Australia as the youngest of three siblings.

WA Police reported the 49-year-old Gale missing from his home address in Bibra Lake in Perth last week. He is believed to be driving a 1999 silver coloured Honda CR-V station sedan, registration 1BOI107.

He was last seen at around 9.40am on Tuesday when he purchased petrol in the town of Pingelly, about 158km from Perth.

Gale is described as fair skinned, 180cm in height, with short curly grey/brown coloured hair and brown eyes.

Family members of Mr Gale told 7NEWS on Friday that they hoped he was “safe” and that they wanted him to contact family or police. They declined to comment further.

Concerns are held for his welfare and police ask that anyone with information regarding his whereabouts call 131444 immediately.
