The freebie train appears to be well and truly in full flight for this year’s batch of Married At First Sight contestants.

The most recent example of cashing in on the spotlight Confidential stumbled across was Cyrell Paule’s 30th birthday bash.

While Paule was one of our favourite contestants on the show for keeping it real, we couldn’t help but call her out on party favours that included her dress, helium balloons, an impressive cake, nibbles and bar staff and cocktails.

Paule took to Instagram (she has 245,000 followers) to “thank everyone for my bday”, tagging various companies who were involved. But when contacted yesterday, she claimed to have nothing to do with organising the event.

“It was my 30th, I wish it was my 21st but what do you do,” she said. “It wasn’t me, it was my best friend that organised the party to be honest.”

The night ended badly for Paule, whose clutch was stolen at a Kings Cross nightclub.

Since the show, Paule has been romantically linked to former Love Island contestant Eden Dally, although some have claimed the relationship is a publicity stunt. The couple have been conveniently snapped by paparazzi around town over recent weeks and have flaunted their romance on social media.

“They’re going to ‘break up’ soon, it is all for publicity,” said one friend.

When put to Paule, she said: “I can’t confirm or deny these allegations”.

Meanwhile, Dally will compete in the Australian final of the Mr World male pageant in Melbourne next week. He is one of several blokes representing NSW.

“I saw it on Instagram, it’s all for a good cause,’’ Dally said. “I’ve never done this in my life but it should be fun.”

Of Paule’s support in Mr World, he said: “She’s encouraging and told me to be funny and confident. I came second on Love Island, hopefully I can win something.”

The international final of the Mr World competition will be held in The Philippines.
