UGG Fluff Yeah slide sparks winter’s most unlikely fashion trend

Fluffy slides. Crocs with socks. Say farewell to the heels, the most fashionable footwear items are now all about comfort both in and out of the home.

Thanks to the new WFH wardrobe, UGG fluffy slides have become this year’s must have fashion item.

They have already been seen on the likes of Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.

The Aussie made shoe has long been synonymous with cosy winter dressing but with COVID-19 and lockdowns, more and more have been seeking out a comfortable trans seasonal option.

“The Fluff collection has seen unprecedented growth year on year,” UGG Brand Manager Kylie Joyce said.

“Naturally this has been accelerated by WFH and the accessibility of shopping online. We have also broadened the offering, introducing new styles and fun colour options to express your individuality.”

UGG aren’t the only brands cashing in on the casualisation of people’s wardrobes.

Pop superstar Justin Bieber, through his clothing company drew house, has launched a second collaboration with Crocs last week.

The lilac clogs, which Bieber suggests teaming with socks, sold out in just thirty minutes and there is now a waitlist for any new drops.
