COURTNEY Act is still looking for love after her failed attempt on MTV reality series, Single AF.

While the show is still on air, broadcast to millions of people around the world, Act revealed she and Sydney model Lucas Escarcello are no longer an item.

“Finding love period, it seems to have worked for Sophie Monk, but I think she is the vocal minority when it comes to finding love on a reality television show,” Act told Confidential.

“I am single. The search for me continues.”

Act, whose real name is Shane Jenek, has been based in Los Angeles for several years, appearing as a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race and travelling the world as a gender illusionist performer.

Single AF featured a bunch of reality TV celebrities attempting to find love in a global search through MTV and also included Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson, X Factor UK twins Jedward American Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham and singer Casey Johnson.

After going on dates around the world, they all picked one person to take to Paris for a week.

Escarcello was Act’s choice after the pair met in Sydney.

“Lucas is a sweet boy but not the love of my life,” she said. “Lucas had that traditional Latin man jealousy, which doesn’t work with me. I am a free spirit.”

More broadly, Act said of the week in Paris with the other contestants: “There were vases smashed, screaming, white wine was thrown. It was like Real Housewives with 20 something year old Geordie kids and Jedward. I’ve never witnessed humanity on that level before.”

Act is home in Australia for just a couple of days to promote her upcoming stint as Teen Angel in Grease The Arena Experience that kicks off in Sydney in January at Qudos Bank Arena.

As for what she’s looking for in love, she said: “I travel constantly for work and so it is kind of a challenge because I am never home in LA very often, like a few times a month. I am kind of content just doing my thing, doing my shows and travelling around and seeing what comes.”
