CHRIS Hemsworth has finally lifted the lid on his brother Liam Hemsworth’s “secret wedding” rumours in Byron Bay with US superstar Miley Cyrus.
The 34-year-old was talking on US radio show SiriusXM when he was drilled over whether Liam had tied the knot while he was in the NSW northern town.
“They’re not officially married,” he confirmed.
Chris also opened up on whether he had given Liam marriage advice and what family parties are really like with Miley in the mix.
“I always just expect her to put on a show and bang a few songs out but she never does, no,” he joked.
“I’m insisting constantly. I’m like, ‘When’s the performance coming?’ but um no she’s just a lot of fun.
“I asked my mum about that, about marriage and kids and she said, ‘Look we’ve been doing it for a long, long time, if there was an answer to it and a way to do it properly we’d have it figured out.’ There’d be one book that says, ‘Here’s how to do it’ and ah no, he doesn’t need my advice.”
Liam’s fiancee Miley joined Chris’ wife Elsa Pataky for some shopping at Spell & The Gypsy Collective last month.
The couple sparked secret wedding rumours after NW magazine claimed that Miley and Liam had married.
“It’s such a special place for them. It’s where they realised that they couldn’t live without each other and decided to really give their relationship another go,” a friend was quoted in the publication.
“It was a no-brainer that it’d be the place they tied the knot, if and when they decided to.”
