Hollywood heavyweight Chevy Chase — best known for his starring role in the National Lampoon’s Vacation films — has made a special trip to Australia to film scenes with Paul Hogan on his new Crocodile Dundee comeback movie.
The comedy icon was pictured on set in Melbourne yesterday having a cigarette in between filming on The Very Excellent Mr Dundee.
Chase plays himself in the comedy while Hogan stars as an “exaggerated” version of himself.
The two have a solid history together and co-hosted the Oscars along with Goldie Hawn in 1987.
They appeared together in Charlie & Boots about 10 years ago.
The new film will shoot in Vancouver and Los Angeles before it is released in cinemas next year.
