AUSSIE model Chantal Monaghanmay work for Armani and Jean Paul Gaultierand hang with Karlie Klossand Gigi Hadid, but Sydney’s Fashion Week has her buzzing.

Monaghan landed in Australia late last week and has been running to fittings and castings ahead of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, which kicks off on Sunday.

“Karlie is loving, so sweet, I see her around town a bit. I met Gigi back in Paris, I think, and I see her at castings, and she is so sweet too,” Monaghan, who will spend the week in Bondi, said.

“It all comes with the job.”

A former contestant on The Face, Monghan was mentoree by Naomi Campbell on the reality show. While for years people recognised her from her time on TV, now the Chic model is being remembered for her work with some of the biggest names in the industry.

“People haven’t mentioned The Face to me in a while — of course it comes up but it isn’t how people know me,” she said.

“They will say I saw your Westfield campaign, or about walking for Jean Paul Gaultier. It is nice to be recognised for the hard work. I am all about working hard and having no regrets.”
