RETIRED footballer Braith Anasta is keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to romance after his failed marriage to actor Jodi Gordon.
The former Roosters star stepped out with new girlfriend Rachael Lee at a New Year’s Day party at Bondi Icebergs yesterday, just days after it was confirmed Gordon is dating real estate agent and socialite Warren Ginsberg.
“Rachael and I are extremely happy together but we will be keeping this private,” Anasta, 34, told The Daily Telegraph.
“You learn from your past relationships. Happiness is all I want. I’ve learnt over the years it is good to keep some things private so we are doing that.”
Anasta and Gordon, who only recently reverted to her maiden name, split in December 2015 after three years of marriage. They have a daughter, Aleeia.
“Aleeia is always my priority, making sure she is happy. She’s in preschool now,” Anasta said.
“Most of it is about her but for me, working at Fox Sports, I have the best job in the world.”
Gordon, 31, spent New Year with her daughter and mum after holidaying with Ginsberg in Byron Bay last week.
