Boy George’s manager says there won’t be any glossing over the controversial singers life with a big screen biopic in the works.

Paul Kemsley will meet with writer director Sacha Gervasi over the coming weeks as he and the Culture Club singer are on board as executive producers of the movie.

“We have got no intention of not making an accurate honest movie,” Kemsley, known as PK, told Confidential.

“It is George’s life and we are going to embrace that life for better, for worse and we are going to tell the story. It will absolutely be warts and all and you know what, fortunately we know it is a happy ending so I hope the movie is going to be uplifting.

“There is some beautiful music, a beautiful soundtrack, culturally very significant. He was part of a decade that people still talk about that is still cool today so we are going to tell the whole story.”

MGM studio will produce the feature film that is in its early stages and comes as movies based on the lives of Freddie Mercury and Elton John have proved smash hits at the box office across the globe.

Bohemian Rhapsody made more than $1.3 billion internationally and also scored a Best Actor Oscar gong for Rami Malek, who played the Queen frontman.

At the end of the day, it is the director and the writer that is going to decide (the story) but we already know based on who he is and how he does things that this is not going to be a musical fantasy, this is going to be a real great true honest movie,” Kemsley said, in Australia with George a coach on The Voice.

Boy George last month told Nova breakfast duo Fitzy and Wippa Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner had been put forward as an option to play him in the biopic.

“It’s really strange but that’s been a suggestion — I think that will upset people, which I really like — (people saying) ‘Oh she can’t play you, she’s a woman,” he told the Nova 96.9 duo.

“But you know, when I was 17 I would have loved to have been her … that was the ambition.”

Kemsley however said it was too soon to talk about casting.

“Casting is a huge process,” he said. “Obviously George and myself will play a role in that and we will have opinions as you’d expect but the process hasn’t started.”

“I don’t even know if I am going to make the movie because it very much depends what part of George’s life we cover and how long the story is,” he said.

“I guess I am going to insist that I get a little mention, not that my insistence will guarantee it. Who shall play me? It has got to be Danny DeVito with a big cigar. Ray Winstone maybe.”

As for his own life, Kemsley appears on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with wife Dorit one of the main stars of the show that screens on Foxtel locally.

“It has been a learning curve for us,” he said. “It is very surreal. It is part of our lives. Obviously we are no longer anonymous, people have opinions … it is kind of mad.”

He added: “I am very proud of Dorit. She is funny. She is beautiful, she’s stylish and she’s so clever, people don’t realise how bright she is. She has pretty much blossomed into the ultimate Housewife as far as I am concerned.”
