Bella Hadid may have opened and closed show but a pooch stole it

BELLA Hadid may have been paid the big bucks to walk the Misha Collection runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, but the real star of the show was Italian sheepdog Atlas.

BELLA Hadid may have been paid the big bucks to walk the Misha Collection runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, but the real star of the show was Italian sheepdog Atlas.

His owner, Alexandra Power, sat in the audience with him because she believed he was a natural fit at fashion week.

“He has a better looking coat than anyone here,” she said.

Hadid might disagree; she closed the catwalk show wearing a blush-coloured short, strapless corset-styled mini dress and long, fluid coat.

The sister of model Gigi had two exits, also opening the show in a sheer, black lace skirt over a black strapless corset, making each 30 second walk worth a rumoured $200,000.

It was part of a flying, 24-hour trip to Australia where she also hung out at Bondi Icebergs and Watsons Bay Hotel.

Backstage after the show Hadid said she’s happy to promote the brand with her 4.3 million Instagram followers.

“I want to literally wear everything from this collection. I literally wore an evening dress today with tennis shoes and it still looked cool,” she said.

“Chanel isn’t going to make you snapchat something but if they’re an upcoming brand they like to get the word out. But I always like to do it, I like supporting young designers.”
