Beau Ryan ready to roll with DWTS romance rumours
After rumours of an affair with a co-star back in 2015, Beau Ryan knew that gossip of a romance with his dancing partner would emerge in a show as intimate as Dancing With The Stars.

Former NRL player Beau Ryan has revealed he thought twice about appearing on Dancing With The Stars knowing full well rumours of an on-screen romance would no doubt take place.
Ryan, who is married to his childhood sweetheart Kara Ryan (nee Orrell) with whom he shares two children, said the decision to sign on to the show wasn’t an easy one to make.
“Before I accepted to go on the show I sat down with Kara,” Ryan told Sunday Confidential.
“We made a decision as a family about how this is going to affect our family. Not just financially but in terms of our relationship and our marriage.
“If Kara didn’t give it the green light, I was never going to do it. She was comfortable with it and Channel 10 said we are going to put you with the right person.”
Ryan’s hesitation about going on the show comes after rumours of an affair with a co-star back in 2015.

The loveable TV and radio host said even if he was paired with a 70-year-old male there would still be rumours of an illegitimate romance.
“It doesn’t matter who I was with, if I was paired with a man the gossip magazines would say I was gay,” he said.
“I was always going to be rumoured to be too close to my partner or whatever to them. We were ready for that. I spoke to Kara about it and as long as Kara is all right, I don’t care about anyone else.”
The theme of the week’s Dancing With The Stars performance is ‘‘Most Memorable Year’’ with Ryan choosing a contemporary routine honouring the year he and Kara got married — 2012.
“Kara has been my constant in everything I have done whether it is footy, TV, radio, she has been there,” he said.
“I honestly would not have anything without her.”
