There’s another Bachie bub on the way.
Loved-up stars of the original season of the reality dating series Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich are pregnant with their second child.
The pair are already parents to two-year-old daughter, Elle.
“We feel extremely lucky that we’ve been able to fall pregnant again,” the couple told The Sunday Telegraph. “We’re excited to have another little bundle of joy coming into our world, but at the same time, we’re also nervous because all of our friends keep telling us how much harder having two is than one. Elle is at such an enjoyable age right now and is able to do things for herself. It’s slightly intimidating going back to the start, but hopefully that means we’ll have it all under control this time.”
The couple on Sunday shared the news with their followers on social media from the Kangaroo Valley, where they spent the weekend at luxury getaway Rea Rea Lodge.
“Bringing another little rascal into the world,” Heinrich wrote.
Celebrity friends including Sam Frost, who recently had her first child, sent congratulations.
“Yay!!!” wrote Frost, who herself appeared on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. “Congratulations beautiful humans.”
Melissa Wu, Takaya Honda, Francesca Hung, Sam Mac, Jules Robinson and Erin Holland also sent messages of support.
Actor and chiropractor Robards and lawyer Heinrich met and fell in love on the first season of The Bachelor a decade ago.
They are one of several Bach success stories, with others from the franchise also becoming parents with their chosen partner from the show, including Matty Johnson and Sam Wood.
Heinrich recently shared a candid snap to Instagram, sharing an image of her daughter with chopped blonde locks after she took to her own hair.
“When your two-year-old decides to become a hairdresser,” she captioned the image.
Robards, 40, will soon be seen on Seven reality show, SAS Australia. Heinrich lasted 11 episodes before voluntarily withdrawing from the competition when she appeared on the gruelling show last year.
“I think he is more nervous about not doing as well as me. It is way worse than what you actually see,” Heinrich said of Robards doing the show recently. “So, yeah, I am worried.”
While Heinrich shot her season in Australia, Robards and his fellow competitors – including Cassie Sainsbury, Lindy Klim, Matthew Mitcham, Stephanie Rice, Craig McLachlan and Anthony Mundine – filmed in the Middle East.
“Once you are in that bubble, no one cares.” Heinrich said. “You have got to give it your all. If you’ve hurt your finger or you’ve hurt your leg, they don’t really care, you’ve got to either get out or push through. It is brutal. What you see on TV, it is way more brutal than what you see on there.”
