THE Bachelorette Sophie Monk has escaped to Thailand with her “bestie” Oscar Gordon in a bid to avoid the paparazzi as the reality TV show continues to air.

The 37-year-old has landed at the exotic location with the former 2DayFM producer, where she has already warmed up to resort staff by persuading them to dance with her.

Wearing a white bathrobe, a fresh-faced Monk booked her secret trip through Luxury Escapes, which appears to specialise in private and pricey getaways.

“Coolest place ever!” Monk wrote on Instagram overnight.

The star was initially heading to Mexico but an unexpected change in plans saw her fly to the tropical Asian location instead.

Last week, several media outlets speculated whether Monk settles on 44-year-old hotel heir Stu Laundy, an intruder who is yet to set foot on the show.

Laundy is the heir to a $500 million family fortune and would be just the sort of man to be able to join her for a poolside margarita if he was her final pick.

“There have already been a number of extraordinary, false, and ridiculous articles printed about Sophie, the Bachelors and the final result,” a Channel 10 spokeswoman said at the time.

“Viewers do not want the show spoiled, and Network Ten will not comment on any stories printed in connection to the end result of the show.”
