Bachelor hunk Matt Agnew sets record straight on Gen Fricker romance rumour

It seems they are just friends after all.
Former Bachelorette hunk Matt Agnew has cleared up his relationship status after allowing rumours to flow.
Agnew attended multiple red carpet film events with comedian Gen Fricker in December, sparking romance talk in the entertainment industry.
Asking fans to “ask me anything” on Instagram at the weekend, Agnew confirmed he is indeed not dating anyone.
“Single pringle,” he wrote when asked if he was single, sharing an image of a Pringle chip with a smiley face.
Agnew and Fricker reluctantly posed for photographs together at Nicole Kidman’s red carpet screening of her critically acclaimed series, Being the Ricardos, in Cremorne last month. Initially Fricker had attempted to avoid media by walking around photographers but was ushered on to the carpet by Agnew.
He also shared images of the pair together on Instagram at the time.
Agnew has been fiercely private about his love life since appearing on The Bachelor in 2019.
In that series he chose Chelsie McLeod as his winner but the pair broke up just a few months later. Earlier last year he was romantically linked to the runner-up in his series, Abbie Chatfield, who is now dating Bachelorette contestant Konrad Bien-Stephens.
Originally from Melbourne, Agnew moved north to Sydney during the pandemic. He is a self-professed maths nerd who works in data science.
As for his weekend question and answer session, there were many scientific queries and randoms like whether or not he had been to Turkey. It was of course the personal stuff that piqued Confidential’s interest.
He said “probably Melbourne” when asked to choose between the Victorian capital and Sydney for his preferred city.
“But Sydney is growing on me,” he said, having moved north to NSW during the pandemic.
Agnew also revealed his ‘male celebrity crush’ being Hugh Jackman, Timothee Chalamet, Idis Elba and Benedict Cumberbatch.
