AUSSIE model Jemma Baines is the newest Guess Girl.
The blonde beauty has been signed on to the brand, which has previously used big names including Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith and Gigi Hadid to front their campaigns.
Talking to Confidential from LA, Baines said she was honoured to now be part of fashion history.
“It is so exciting to work for one of the most iconic brands who used women such as Anna Nicole and Kate Upton ... women who are naturally beautiful. It is very important to be part of a brand like that,” Baines said.
“I never really thought I’d get a job with one of the original sexy brands. It is a brand which embraces women as they are.”
She follows in the footsteps of fellow Aussie Simone Holtznagel, who has worked with Guess for several years.
Baines revealed she has several shoots with Guess in the coming weeks.
“Guess have a lot of things planned for me. It is very exciting” she said.

Baines had to make the leap from high fashion to commercial modelling after she turned 20 and her body began to change.
After winning the 2010 Girlfriend Model Search she travelled to the US and Europe in her teens to shoot for Vogue, Marie-Claire and Oyster.
But she went from modelling for Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Zac Posen, Valentino and Louis Vuitton to not being booked by the high-end fashion houses when she developed a more womanly body in her early 20s.
“For me it has been the biggest change of my career, going from high fashion to commercial modelling. From working for Chanel for seven seasons in a row ... then physically changing into a woman. I was unsure where I fit in the industry,” she said.
“Growing up in modelling and developing is a strange occurrence. I now feel very comfortable in myself and the work I am doing.”
Baines hopes to get back to Australia later this year to work with some homegrown brands.
