Should these celebs be nominated for a Gold Logie?
“Our neighbour was looking at a casting call and saw they were looking for newborn twins,” Whitfield Pomeranz, whose husband Josh is Margaret’s son, told Confidential. “We sent photos to the casting agent and they were cast.”
The role was for the twins to play newborns of Sarah Hyland’s character, Haley Dunphy.
“We did not know they were going to be one of the main characters babies," she said.
“They already got their cheque and we opened them a bank account.”
The twins made their acting debut on the series 10 finale episode.
With a final 11th season of the show commissioned, Hunter and Andie’s parents are waiting to hear if they will get more screen time.
“God willing, right,” she said.
At the time of shooting, Hyland shared an image holding the twins while shooting to her 6.4 million Instagram followers.
“Double the pleasure + Double the fun = Double the Babies,” she wrote in the caption.
