Daniel MacPherson has gone ‘insta-official’ with his new girlfriend after splitting from actor partner, Zoe Ventoura.
The star actor and television host was recently linked romantically to model and schoolteacher Jessica Dover, who shared a montage of shots of the pair together to Instagram on Tuesday.
The caption read: “happy birthday @danmacpherson adore you” with a love heart emoji.
It was MacPherson’s 42nd birthday on Tuesday and he reshared Dover’s post, as well as posting a stand-alone image of Dover by the ocean with the caption “birthday visitor”.
The handsome couple were snapped together recently at a horse racing event but until now have not publicly confirmed their relationship.
MacPherson, of Foundation and Strike Back fame, split from wife and former Home And Away star Zoe Ventoura in 2020 after five years of marriage. They co-parent their son, Austin.
Dover is known for appearing on Channel 7s reno series House Rules in 2018 with her then partner, Adelaide Crows AFL player Jared Petrenko, with whom she has a son, Sebastian. She and Petrenko separated in 2021.
MacPherson most recently appeared in Russell Crowe’s Poker Face and will be seen in Land of the Bad that was filmed in the Gold Coast and also stars Liam Hemsworth.
He also recently wrapped production on Tyler Atkins’ film, Beast In Me, playing a retired MMA fighter.
Of taking a break to spend three months with his son after shooting on the Gold Coast, he said: “I wanted to be present, present in myself to be attentive to all the things that mattered.
“The reward for all the focus. It was full of joy, laughter, experience, trust, hugs, more laughter, the warmest cuddles and lots and lots of love. Every second of hard work and sacrifice was repaid 10 fold. Fatherhood has been an intense and incredible navigation, and the adventure just gets better and better.”
