Aussie actor David Berry is back on home soil after a long stint with TV series Outlander.
After eight years of travelling back and forth to Scotland for the hit series, Berry is now taking a well-deserved break before returning for the next season.
“I’m just enjoying being home with my son, reconnecting with friends and being in Australia for once and not having to get on a plane anytime soon,” Berry told Confidential.
The 40-year-old who plays Lord John in the series is expecting longtime fans to be shocked by the decade-long series’ newest season.
“He (Lord John) definitely causes a bit of disruption, to put it mildly,” he said.
For Berry, donning an accent and stepping into the 18th century is “an easy job” where he has relished the opportunity to time-travel in a richly detailed historical setting.
“There’s no shortage of detail and exacting period detail, it’s going back in time which is really cool.”
With over eight years of the show, Berry describes the show which is available on BINGE as “a labour of love,” acknowledging the hard work and passion from everyone involved in the show.
