It is the interview Karl Stefanovic’s ex said never happened.
Audio of an interview between Cassandra Thorburn and paparazzo journalist Jonathan Marshall has been released online, labelled ‘The Cass Interview’.
In the recorded chat, during which photographs were also taken at Sydney Airport, Thorburn claimed her children did not attend their father’s wedding to fashion designer Jasmine Yarbrough in Mexico.
“They did not attend (the ceremony),” the former Dancing With The Stars contestant told Marshall.

Pictures of the kids attending the wedding ceremony have since been sighted by Confidential.
Days after Thorburn’s interview, New Idea magazine published the story in which she said of her ex: “everything he (Stefanovic) says is about this fake person who lives in this fake castle”.
Thorburn subsequently appeared on morning show Studio 10 and claimed emphatically “there was no interview”.
But the newly released audio features the voice of a woman claimed to be Thorburn saying the words published previously in the magazine.
“After we separated he sat me down and said, it is very hard being the best journalist in Australia, quite possibly the world’.”
When contacted, Marshall told Confidential: “For four months Cass has been telling anyone who would listen that she never spoke to me. Now, the audio is laid bare for those who took her seriously to reflect on.”
