OFFSPRING star Asher Keddie has opened up about whether she will add to her family, revealing the question of having more children is one she is routinely asked.
Keddie, who shares son Valentino, three, and stepson Luca, nine, with husband Vincent Fantauzzo, says the question used to “make me prickle a bit” when her youngest son was still a baby.
“I’d think, ‘Give me a break, I’m still finding my feet,’” Keddie told marie claire, which is on sale today.

“Interestingly, a couple of people asked me over the last couple of days, and I don’t seem to be quite as prickly about it now.”
Keddie said the baby question is one that female celebrities face pretty much exclusively.
“Before I had children, it used to upset me,” Keddie says.
“I didn’t understand why it wasn’t OK to be successful without having met the right person to have a child [with]. I wasn’t in a position to until I was 38 or 39. [But] I’m just so thrilled that I was able to.”
That’s not to say another little one is off the cards.
“I’m not thinking about it at the moment,” says Keddie.
“If I were thinking about it, I might get stressed [because] I’m 44. It’s not impossible, but it would take up a lot of time.
“I feel like we’ve got things going so nicely at the moment, I don’t [want] to shake that right now.”
Keddie, who played Nina Proudman on the Australian drama for seven seasons over an eight-year run, will soon be seen in The Cry, a psychological thriller co-produced by the ABC and the BBC.
“It’s such a departure for me in terms of character,” Keddie says.
“It had been a while since I’d explored much darker territory and I was just up for it. It’s a strange thing to say that I enjoyed it, but did.”
