OFFSPRING star Asher Keddie says she’ll be leaving the potential for a second child up to fate.

“I like surprises and (one-year-old Valentino) was a surprise. I don’t close doors very often so we’ll just see. I do have an Italian husband who loves children, but with work at the moment … I’m just so focused on jumping back into it,” she told InStyle’s August issue.

The 41-year-old, whose son joins her on the set of the hit series, admitted that she has found the first year of Valentino’s life confronting at times.

“It’s full of challenges and it’s a rollercoaster, emotionally and physically, and there’s no point in

lying about that because it is. It was challenging, but it was also the most full of love any time has ever felt for me … I wasn’t expecting it to give me so much purpose,” added Keddie, who is also a stepmother to husband Vincent Fantauzzo’s son Luca.

Keddie said that her relationship gave her the freedom to be to be creatively fulfilled.

“I had hoped that I would meet someone like Vincent [and be in a relationship]

where I could feel like I could have the courage to be myself. I don’t think I really knew or allowed myself to do that before I met him,” she said.
