THE Hemsworth brothers turned out in force to support Thor star Chris at the launch of the reboot of comedy, Vacation, in Hollywood this week.
The three brothers — Chris, Liam and Luke — were as one, a macho Aussie man-de-force, as they charmed all with their natural and easy manner while Chris talked up his “big bold” manhood.
Hemsworth had to strip to his jocks for his role in Vacation in which he plays the role of Rusty Griswold, son of Chevy Chase’s “Clark”, now a study weatherman.
In one scene, Hemsworth appears in clinging jocks which bare the outline of an enormous erection.
He admitted he was given the option to choose his fake prosthesis for one scene and opted for the largest on offer.
“It was character development,” he laughed. “We went bold, ya know — big and bold. It was embarrassing and it was intimidating but this is why I got into the business, to have fun.”
His co-star Christina Applegate added that she knew it was going to be mammoth: “I saw it in the box when they brought it in. Nothing shocks me. I’m game for anything.”
Also enjoying the joke at the premiere was his wife of three years, Elsa Pataky.
The three genetically blessed brothers — Luke, 33, Chris, 31 and baby of the family Liam, 25 — played up for the cameras as the posed on the red carpet.
