Alexandra Keating and Rupert Sanders expecting first baby together

Four months ago Alexandra Keating launched her beauty brand in Australia — but she had another production under wraps, with the youngest daughter of ex-PM Paul Keating expecting her first baby.

Alexandra Keating – the youngest daughter of former prime minister Paul Keating – is expecting her first child.

The 39-year-old, who just four months ago launched her beauty brand Uni in Australia, has kept the pregnancy under wraps until recently.

It will be the first child for Keating — whose friends call her AK — and her husband, British film director Rupert Sanders, and comes four years after their intimate Covid wedding in Santa Barbara.

She inadvertently broke the news this week, when she shared a series of photographs to her social media page, with her burgeoning baby bump on display.

While she didn’t address the pregnancy in her latest social media post, she was displaying a very obvious baby bump in the images she shared and received a number of messages congratulating her on the pregnancy.

“That’s a very big bump. Congratulations to you and Rupert. Can’t wait to meet the little one,” one follower wrote alongside a series of images.

“Wow so proud of you AK. And love that Roops doing his Scottish jog and you somehow make pregnancy in a kilt look unbelievable sexy and stylish,” stated another.

Keating is already stepmother to Sanders’ daughter Skyla and son Tennyson (Sonny) from his first marriage to model Liberty Ross (who is now married to American music-industry entrepreneur Jimmy Lovine).

She has previously have spoken about her fondness of his kids.

“They’re such amazing kids,” she told The Australian.

“Well, they’re not really kids any more. Skyla is at NYU, which is really fun.

“It allows us to have a bigger world to play in because I get to hang out with her when I’m there … and then Sonny’s not far behind.”

The serial entrepreneur, has spent her career in the tech world, however three years ago launched beauty brand Uni which is already hugely successful and currently stocked in Erewhon, Goop and Credo Beauty.

And while notoriously private Keating has called the US home for more than 10 years, she did make an appearance back in Australia to launch the product.

Alexandra is the younger sister of Katherine Keating.
