THE Victoria’s Secret model starred on the catwalk for Alex Perry as the stars hogged the front row seats at Fashion Week in Sydney.
Oh the glamour of it all! On Day One of fashion week Alex Perry’s show proved to be the ‘it’ event of the day.
Local celebrities including Sarah Murdoch, Lisa wilkinson and Sophie Faulkner sat front row as Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio glided down the runway in a sparkly varsity dress.
While hemlines started out thigh high, by the end they dropped to the knee with stretch sheaths aimed at a slightly more mature customer.
Alex may consider himself the “outsider” of fashion week but there’s no denying he has the strongest VIP following.
Sarah Murdoch had her eye on a lace design.
“The collection was very me and I can see myself wearing a lot of these dresses,” she said. “The simple lines, gorgeous fabrics and tailoring is heavenly.”
Earlier in the day, Aurelio Costarella showcased feather, sequined and metallic bustier gowns that we will see on the red carpet come Logie time.
