ACRA host Amanda Keller’s X-rated Abbie Chatfield joke

ACRA hosts Amanda Keller and Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones weren’t pulling any punches at this year’s Logies of the radio world. See the full list of winners.

Amanda Keller drops unexpected news live on air

Abbie Chatfield’s radio co-host Rohan Edward joked that she looked like “that hot fish from Shark Tale” as she attended the 2022 Australian Commercial Radio Awards in Sydney’s Darling Harbour on Saturday.

“I decided to go for severely overdressed,” the Hot Nights host captioned a snap of her pink lingerie-inspired ensemble for the Logies of the radio world.

Hosts Amanda Keller and Brendan “Jonesy” Jones didn’t pull any punches, implying that she would want to use the ACRAs trophy as a sex toy.

“Take it from me, it’s a magnificent addition to any mantelpiece,” Jones said.

Keller delivered the punchline: “Yes, Abbie Chatfield is still trying to work out where you put the batteries.”

They also took aim at KIIS FM hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson, who were crowned Best On-Air Team for a record eighth time, and were also inducted into the Commercial Radio Hall of Fame for outstanding lifetime achievement.

“Sadly, Kyle and Jackie’s censor couldn’t be here tonight. She’s been hospitalised with RSI,” Keller joked.

Sandilands was dumped from the airwaves last week, after making inappropriate comments during an interview with Alan Jones.

In his speech, the 51-year-old thanked his “best mate” Henderson, before refusing to thank “anyone in management”.

This year’s ACRAs drew a crowd of more than 1000 industry players and guests.
