Ryan Gosling’s actress wife Eva Mendes spotted at Sydney park

They only just arrived in Sydney but Ryan Gosling’s actress wife Eva Mendes is already making herself at home, spotted enjoying some fresh air in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with her daughter.

Ryan Gosling will be moving to Australia to film 'The Fall Guy'

Hollywood actress Eva Mendes looked just like any other eastern suburbs mum as she made her way around Rose Bay alongside her youngest daughter this week.

Images of the 2 Fast 2 Furious and Hitch actress snapped by Sunday Confidential’s spies show Mendes, who is in Sydney with husband Ryan Gosling while he shoots the film adaptation of ’80s TV series The Fall Guy, was dressed down in velcro slides, a green polka dot skirt, waterproof jacket and a cap.

She reportedly smiled at locals as she walked along the foreshore of Rose Bay, before stopping at a playground with the couple’s eight-year-old daughter, Esmeralda.

Mendes has laid pretty low since touching down in Sydney alongside her famous husband late last month.

However, we also hear she has spent some time at shopping precinct The Intersection Paddington, where she went inside Zimmermann and made a few purchases.

The couple is expected to call Sydney their home for the rest of the year.

Gosling’s The Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt is also reportedly in town, but is yet to be seen.

The Fall Guy, which has been several years in the making, is set to inject $244m into Australia’s economy, having received a $30m grant from the federal government and $15m from the NSW government.

It’s expected to shoot in Sydney as well as rural NSW, and will employ more than a thousand Australian cast and crew as well as more than 3000 Australian extras, Communications Minister Paul Fletcher says.

The Fall Guy is a Universal Studios production from the same team that brought Julia Roberts and George Clooney to Queensland to shoot Ticket To Paradise last year.

It is based on a TV series created by Glen A. Larson (Battlestar Galactica, Magnum P.I.) which originally ran from 1981 to 1986.

Gosling’s film credits include La La Land, The Notebook, Drive and The Gray Man, and he also finished shooting the new Barbie movie with Aussie actress Margot Robbie earlier this year.
