Rumours are swirling that there is a hot new creative couple in town.
Former Ksubi designer Dan Single is said to be dating Sydney “it” girl Sarah Ellen.
Friends are saying the pair met and fell for one another in Byron Bay, where they have both been based in recent months.
Ellen, a former Neighbours actor turned blogger, was rumoured to be engaged in 2019 to beau of four years Caleb Jackson.
While Sunday Confidential has heard from a number of sources that Ellen and Single were close, he denied there was any romance.
“We be (sic) asked the same question all the time, and laugh, can’t a man and a woman just be mates? We are 100% NOT in a relationship, we are the best of friends that share a common bond for life, adventure, and all the beauty that comes with it,” he said.
Ellen was a VIP guest at this week’s Dior store launch event in Sydney. It was here she confirmed to guests that her engagement was over.
Single was previously linked to designer Pip Edwards, with whom he shares a teenage son, and more recently to model Bambi Northwood-Blyth.
Single and Northwood- Blyth were married for four years after tying the knot in 2014 in Byron Bay.
However they split not long after Single fell “feet first” from a balcony in Paris in 2017, sustaining serious injuries.
It’s not yet known whether Edwards is aware of her ex’s rumoured romance, however we do know the P.E Nation designer has some of Ellen’s artwork hanging in her lavish Rose Bay bachelorette pad.
Single and Ellen have recently been creating art together for charity initiative AIME, which aims to support 100,000 marginalised kids by 2025.
The creatives uploaded an image of their work alongside this caption from Single: “Me and Sez have a common bond, or should I say MANY common bonds. A few of them being the love of creativity, art in all its forms and beauty.
“Sez is a bit of a prolific artist, and has no fear approaching a canvas. Me on the other hand, nervous AF approaching a canvas.
“Sez pushed me outta my comfort zone and made me get my hands dirty.”
Added Ellen: “Art is one of the most personal expressions. These 2 works Dan and I made with our hands, and came from the heart.”
