As the race finishes with a Lando Norris win, Pip Edwards is wrapping up the F1 festivities in style.
The 44-year-old creative director of Ksubi and Sydney socialite has been part of the glamour in Melbourne all week, as the Formula 1 Grand Prix takes Australia by storm.
“The energy is unmatched,” Edwards told Confidential.
“It’s not just about the race — it’s the people, the fashion, the parties, the whole spectacle. You feel the buzz in the air all week leading up to it.”
Known for her effortlessly stylish taste, Edwards says the fashion is what truly elevates the atmosphere at the track and is already predicting the vibe for the afterparties.
“It’s all about effortless luxury for me,” she said.
“I think we’ll see a lot of ‘luxe aesthetic’ looks — polished but effortless. Think clean lines, muted tones and beautiful tailoring.
“The ‘South Cali’ vibe is definitely coming through too — elevated denim, silk slip dresses, and relaxed but refined silhouettes.”
As the rain pours in Melbourne and the races come to an end, the Don Julio 1942 After Race Party’ is the place to be as it transforms Marmont Crown into an ultra chic Southern Californian-style gathering.
Kicking off at 6pm on Sunday, March 16, the party promises a star-studded guest list, with Sporty Spice Mel C headlining alongside Melbourne DJ set Cut Copy.
“I’m so excited for another chance to perform in Australia, especially in Melbourne. This city brings such great energy, and as an entertainer, it’s an incredible experience to be a part of that,” Mel C told Confidential.
Other high-profile guests include Illy, Lana Wilkinson, Curtis Stone, Bec Judd, and Sharon Johal, as well as a mix of local celebrities, business moguls, politicians, and sporting icons.
