The Kid Laroi in Covid scare in Los Angeles

Aussie music star The Kid Laroi, who just performed in front of thousands with Miley Cyrus, revealed he's had Covid, which has sent fans into a frenzy.

The Kid LAROI claims he has COVID

The Kid Laroi claims he has spent seven days locked up in a room with Covid.

The Australian teen pop sensation disclosed the detail in a now deleted Instagram post in which he celebrated his number one hit with Justin Bieber, Stay.

He said all he wanted to do was “make it big” in America and added “it’s been a while since I’ve been back home because of COVID (which I currently have and have been locked in a room for the past 7 days)”.

Later during a live stream, the 17-year-old said he and his TikTok star girlfriend Katarina Deme were quarantining together because they both had Covid but then gave a live update that he was Covid-free.

Adding to the confusion, TMZ photographed the couple out and about in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Laroi, known as Charlton Howard on his passport, announced in June he had signed with Bieber’s longtime manager Scooter Braun, the music entrepreneur and investor who acquired the rights to Taylor Swift’s first six records when he bought the Big Machine label.

Originally from Waterloo in Sydney, he has amassed more than one billion streams for his music since breaking worldwide with the single Let Her Go in 2019.
