Christina Aguilera reveals huge transformation on stage in Mexico

Christina Aguilera has left fans stunned with her latest onstage appearance – it looks like she’s turned back the clock by 25 years.

Pop singer Christina Aguilera headlined a festival in Mexico over the weekend – and clips from the concert have wowed the singer’s fans, who are amazed at how good she looks.

Aguilera, 43, barely seems to have aged a day since she burst onto the pop scene as a teenager in 1999 with the sultry debut single Genie In A Bottle.

The new photos reveal mum-of-two Aguilera’s gone through something of a transformation in recent years, appearing to have lost a noticeable amount of weight compared to photos taken of her in 2022 and last year.

In a 2021 interview, Aguilera admitted that she “hated being skinny” in the ‘90s when she was just emerging on the scene as she “loved her booty”.

“Entering this business, I hated being super skinny. Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves,” she told Health.

Late last year, Aguilera stunned fans with her youthful appearance in a video recorded during her Australian tour.

“What is going on with celebrities that look younger and younger??? what are they drinking?” one fan demanded.

This year marks 25 years since Aguilera released her self-titled debut album.

“Twenty-five years allows me the opportunity to reflect on the music, my growth and the amazing journey during that time of spending incredible moments with my fans worldwide,” she told news.com.au last year of the career milestone.

24 years later and she’s barely aged a day.

Asked to pick a highlight from her career to date, Aguilera said that “there have been so many amazing moments. It’s impossible to pick only one, but since there’s nothing like the first time – I would say winning the Grammy for Best New Artist was such a thrill at the time. I was a newcomer and baby to the business.

“You can never repeat that category, so it’s one that I especially cherish.”

Aguilera isn’t the only pop star to unveil a dramatic makeover recently.

Aussie singer Tones and I debuted a high-glam new look on social media earlier this month, while Kelly Clarkson recently opened up about the cause for her well-documented weight loss.
