MAFS groom outs new wife in explosive 1am video diary

A new MAFS couple have ended their honeymoon on ugly terms after the groom outed his bride’s behaviour via a dodgy 1am video diary.

A new Married At First Sight couple have exploded on their honeymoon, with the groom recording a video diary in the middle of the night exposing her bad behaviour.

Jessica, 27, and Daniel, 30, were one of the two intruder couples to be married on Tuesday night’s episode, and while they initially appeared to connect, things rapidly began to go downhill after the ceremony.

Jess, a retail assistant, made a comment at their reception about how when she gets married in real life, she wants to wear trackpants. The suggestion this marriage wasn’t real (?) sent Daniel into a state of complete disarray.

“It’s like, why would you say that? Is it fake?” he asks a producer. “So I’m not gonna pretend with her if I know that she doesn’t think it’s serious. I just don’t know if she’s genuine.”

Daniel was one of the new grooms on tonight's MAFS.

He married Jessica, and they seemed to be a good match.

While the pair eventually patch that little disagreement up, with Daniel admitting it’s possible he overreacted, things escalate again on their honeymoon during the infamous Honesty Box challenge.

The question in question? “Are you physically attracted to me?”

“I won’t say you’re my dream girl, but I am physically attracted to you and on paper, visually, you would be considered my type,” Daniel says. Naturally, it’s the “dream girl” comment that is all Jess can hear from that sentence.

“If you could change something about me – physically or personality wise – what would it be? Actually let’s say physically,” Jess presses.

“Why would you do that to me? It’s like asking me to hurt your feelings,” Daniel argues. “I’m just gonna look like a d**k for saying something. Nah, I’d rather not [answer] because it’ll make me look like an idiot.”

Jess points out that that is “an answer in itself”.

Things ended on bad terms for Jess and Daniel.

“You’re saying there is things you would want to change that would be hurtful to me,” Jess says, before bailing on their dinner and sleeping in a separate bedroom.

And just when we think that’s it for the night, we are presented with dodgy night-cam footage Daniel has filmed after eavesdropping on Jess’ explosive conversation through the wall.

Daniel’s diary.

“‘It’s 1am, on the last night of our honeymoon,” Mitch whispers on his video log.

“I got woken up to the sound of Jess on the phone going off about me.

“Swearing her head off,” he finishes, as he shakes his head in disbelief.

Producers did not go to Jess for comment for this episode. Perhaps she was still on the phone.
