Is there another new famous sporting couple?
Tongues were wagging this week about Australia’s greatest ever female basketballer Lauren Jackson hanging out with former St Kilda great Justin “Kosi” Koschitzke.
It was the second times in as many weeks the pair have been seen in close contact.
They were first spied seated together on October 9 at the NBL game between Melbourne United and the Sydney Kings at John Cain Arena.
Now the pair have posted a picture with love hearts at the Danny Frawley Centre for health and wellbeing, where Kosi now works at St Kilda’s Moorabbin headquarters.
The news follows last week’s revelation that Olympic champion swimmer Ariarne Titmus and Melbourne Storm superstar Ryan Papenhuyzen were also keeping close company and were “good friends”.
Jackson, 41, came out of retirement to play for the Opals at last month’s FIBA World Cup where they won the bronze medal.
She revealed immediately afterwards her international playing career was over, but confirmed a move to Melbourne where she will play for the Southside Flyers in the upcoming WNBL season.
Kosi has also recently returned to Victoria after spending time around Byron Bay where his former wife and children reside.
Jackson, who has been living in her hometown of Albury for several years, has two young children.
