Singer Guy Sebastian can’t seem to catch a break.
The pop star, who is in the midst of a mammoth court case against his ex-manager and this week fell ill with Covid, has been forced to defend himself after teenagers allegedly provoked him.
A video has emerged of Sebastian approaching young teenagers during the Easter school holiday break, after they allegedly said and did something offensive to the former Australian Idol.
“I was f..king being nice to you,” Sebastian said.
One of the teens responds: “Calm down.”
Sebastian addressed the altercation yesterday, telling Sunday Confidential there was more to the story, but he was regretful about his language.
“We all know teenagers can push boundaries,” he said.
“This isn’t an isolated situation.
“Being provoked for a reaction and being filmed sometimes comes with being in the public eye.
“I shouldn’t have sworn, I am not proud of that, but … it’s a very short snippet of a situation that does not tell the full story.”
