Phoebe Tonkin deserves a Logie for her outstanding performance in Boy Swallows Universe. There is no role that she can’t play. She is a true Aussie icon and played the character Frances Bell perfectly,” says Lainey.

NCIS Sydney deserves the Best Drama Program Logie for its successful adaptation of the iconic US series with distinct Australian characteristics. It was nice to sit at home watching such a well known show brought to life in our own city. Seeing the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House in NCIS was surreal,” says Bree.

BEST LIFESTYLE PROGRAM

Travel Guides deserves Best Lifestyle Program. It’s unique take on travel with relatable everyday Aussies as critics made it such a fun watch. It keeps us entertained AND informed about amazing places across many destinations, making it a hit at our house,” says Mia.

BEST ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM

Australian Idol deserves the Best Entertainment Program Logie for showcasing Aussie talent and turning me into a pop star in my own lounge room. Not many shows get me singing but this one does every single time. The fun judges and talented singers make it a standout show, celebrating local talent with super great energy,” says Lainey.

FAVOURITE SHOW NOT NOMINATED

“I would have loved to see Colin From Accounts nominated. It is a true blue Aussie show that has me laughing in my room every night. I personally think that the dog’s performance is a true 10/10 that deserves a lot more recognition,” says Mia.

High Country: The calibre of the casting and the storyline should have made this show nominated for Best Drama.

The new season of Gogglebox Australia is on Wednesdays at 7.30pm on Foxtel and Thursdays on 10 and 10 Play. Hosted by comedian Sam Pang, The Logies will be held at The Star in Sydney tonight, and shown on 7 and 7Plus from 7pm.
