It was a real-life case of The Fast and the Furious when Ben Affleck’s young son allegedly collided with another vehicle while at the wheel of a yellow Lamborghini SUV.
The incident happened when Affleck and his fiance, Jennifer Lopez, attended luxury rental car dealership 777 Exotics in Los Angeles with Affleck’s 10-year-old son, Samuel Garner Affleck.
The New York Post reported Affleck let Samuel — who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner — sit in the driver’s seat of the car, when the child accidentally put it into reverse.
The car — said to be a Lamborghini Urus that is rented for a $US1,475 per day — then made minor contact with a white BMW parked behind it, The Post’s Page Six reported.
Affleck and his son got out of the car and inspected both vehicles in the wake of the incident, photos revealed.
The Oscar-winner could be seen comforting his son, as Lopez looked on and checked her phone.
A representative for Affleck said there was no damage to either vehicle, TMZ reported.
An employee of 777 Exotics said the car “jerked back and forth” during the incident, though no damage was done.
“We have a small lot and the cars are close.”
No one was injured, the employee confirmed. “Everybody was OK!” he said.
“They seemed happy and continued to browse.
“Affleck loves cars,” the dealership employee said. “We hope they come in again.”
Affleck and Lopez announced their engagement in April, nearly two decades after the couple called off their first wedding.
