Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have jetted off on a secret luxury getaway to a billionaires’ paradise without their kids.
The couple were spotted walking hand-in-hand on Canouan, a small island in the Caribbean archipelago nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines, just days after a busy week of promoting mental health projects in New York City.
A passer-by snapped a picture of the Sussexes as they left a gourmet food store located in the Sandy Lane Yacht Club and Marina in Glossy Bay, The Express reports.
Meghan was typically chic in an ivory maxi-dress with a Panama hat while Prince Harry wore navy shorts and a white T-shirt.
The pair, who were holidaying without their two children, four-year-old Prince Archie and two-year-old Princess Lilibet, had just been shopping at the grocery store Faye, which offers fresh seasonal organic products and exclusive meat cuts.
A source told the Daily Mail that the Sussexes “looked happy”.
“As Harry walked out of the shop, he slightly bumped into one of the barrels (outside) and they both giggled and Meghan reached for his hand,” the source said.
“They just looked very happy to be having a holiday together.”
The Express reported that it was not clear where the Sussexes were staying but one of the resorts on the island is the Soho Beach House Canouan.
Meghan is close friends with Soho House boss Markus Anderson, who famously arranged a private room at Soho House in London for Prince Harry and Meghan when they had their first date in 2016.
