Luke Jacobz, renowned for his role in Home and Away, has shared the arrival of his first child, a daughter named Maisie, with fans.
Born on 14 November to Jacobz and wife Raychel Stuart, Maisie’s introduction to the world was accompanied by a series of adorable photos shared by the proud father on Instagram.
The actor, who portrayed Angelo Rosetta on the Channel 7 soap from 2008 to 2011, said, “Words cannot describe how happy we are to bring our bundle of joy into the world.”
Maisie’s birth marked an eventful day for the couple, with Jacobz playfully hashtagging, “Daddy’s girl.”
The Instagram post, capturing Maisie wrapped in a hospital blanket and cradled by both parents, garnered heartfelt congratulations from fellow celebrities.
Former Home and Away star Sophie Dillman wrote, “I have never cried so much from a picture. Congratulations, you beautiful souls! She is perfect.”
Actress Lynne McGranger commented, “Congratulations guys! How exciting. Welcome Maisie”.
The baby announcement follows the couple’s wedding in Sydney earlier this year.
Jacobz had previously shared the news of Raychel Stuart’s pregnancy back in July, a few weeks after their nuptials.
The actor wrote, “2023 has been quite the year. Wedding in June and a baby in November!”
In a candid interview on The Morning Show, Jacobz shared insights into their journey to parenthood, revealing that they had been trying to expand their family for some time.
Despite the challenges, the couple decided not to reschedule their wedding, embracing the double joy of tying the knot and preparing for the arrival of their first bub.
