Candice Warner loves horseracing and she loves fashion, so promoting the McGrath Foundation Pink Fashion Lunch was a no-brainer for the cricket WAG and former ironwoman.

Tough girls wear pink too.
Former ironwoman Candice Warner, who proved herself a contestant to be reckoned with on the Channel 7 reality series SAS: Australia, is happy to wear the blush shade to help raise money for the McGrath Foundation.
She will don her best pink outfit for Chandon Ladies Day at Rosehill Gardens on March 13, joined by a who’s who of female talent, including Samantha Armytage, Christine Anu and Rachel Griffiths.
Mrs Warner, the wife of Aussie cricketer David Warner and mother to their three girls, modelled a bespoke pink hat designed by milliner Ann Shoebridge that will be auctioned on the day.
“I hope to wear something pretty special on the day that will also involve a lot of pink,” she said. “Ann’s design is just so beautiful, it’s a handmade baby-pink silk piece that’s a very soft ’80s or ’90s look.”
Now in its second year, the Pink Fashion Lunch, supporting the McGrath Foundation, kicks off the three-week Longines Golden Slipper Carnival.
Mrs Warner has been named Longines Golden Slipper Ambassador this year, and said she “jumps at any opportunity to support the McGrath Foundation”.
“I love everything about horseracing, whether it be the racing or the fashion,” Mrs Warner said.
“So when the opportunity came up to be able to partner with the ATC and Longines,
I jumped at it.
“The McGrath Foundation always do the Pink Test with the cricket, so making this the pink race day is such a fantastic initiative and everyone always seems to get behind it.”
