Britney Spears raises eyebrows after posing naked with her dog

Pop star Britney Spears has raised eyebrows on social media after posting a string of X-rated photos while holding her puppy dog, Sawyer.

Britney Spears has posted a handful of naked photos on Instagram which show the star wearing nothing at all while holding her dog.

The 40-year-old US singer, who is pregnant with her first child with fiance Sam Ashgari, posed completely nude in several portrait shots with a diamond emoji protecting her modesty, as she held Australian Shepherd puppy, Sawyer, whom she got in February.

The photos have raised eyebrows on social media.

Many people rushed to the comments section to ask, “Why?”, with others declaring they were “confused.”

“The dog is confused and so am I,” one follower wrote, with another adding, “Covering her private parts with her dog...... umm yeah, like that’s not plain wrong.”

Another said, “This is way too much.”

But others rushed to Spears’ defence, saying “she’s a 40 year old woman that can do whatever the f**k she wants to with her own body and social media.”

“Britney shaking up the gram as usual,” another added, while a third simply dubbed her a “queen.”

It comes after the pregnant pop star, who has made a habit of posing nude on social media in recent months, raised eyebrows for her nude pool photo-shoot with her assistant last month.

Spears was pictured with her legs around her assistant Vicky in a swimming pool, admitting in the caption that she was completely naked at the time.

“Yep … me naked in the pool and my assistant @vickyt holding me like a baby !!!! BAHAHAHAHA,” she wrote, tagging her assistant on Instagram.

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton took to the comments to weigh-in on the interaction, which he deemed “inappropriate”.

“I wish someone close to a Britney could explain to her that this is just not appropriate. And in addition to literally exposing herself she’s also exposing herself to a potential lawsuit from this assistant in the future,” he said.

While most of the singer’s fans slammed Hilton’s take and instead expressed their delight that Britney was enjoying her freedom and surrounded by good friends, a few others echoed the concern.

“If my boss did that to me…,” one said, while another added: “I feel like Vicky should talk to HR.”
