SUPERSTAR Eminem has arrived in Melbourne, heading straight for the nearest bowling alley.

Surrounded by at least three body guards in his small entourage, the American rapper was spotted leaving Strike Bowling QV in Little Lonsdale Street in the city.

The music star has arrived in Melbourne from New Zealand, where his shows were critically acclaimed.

Eminem will perform alongside Kenrick Lamar, 360, J Cole and Action Bronson as part of his Rapture tour on Wednesday night at Etihad.

Known as Marshall Mathers in real life, Eminem continues to top the charts, his most recent No. 1 being The Monster featuring Rihanna.

He now travels the world alcohol free, after battling alcohol addiction.
