Katie Holmes stuns with edgy makeover on Glamour magazine cover

Katie Holmes, 44, has unveiled her incredible new look on the cover of Glamour magazine, while offering a rare insight into her private life.

Katie Holmes has made a jaw-dropping appearance on a magazine cover after undergoing a dramatic makeover.

The actress, 44, was pictured looking much edgier in the stunning images in Glamour magazine, with her hair in loose, dishevelled waves and paired with a sultry make-up look.

On the cover, Holmes was seen in a sheer monochrome top with gold detailing, which she accessorised with a nose ring.

She modelled a cut-out metallic dress and an uneven, white corset with grey trousers in pictures within the magazine.

Holmes’ glamorous new look was greeted with plenty of enthusiasm from fans:

“Wow Katie Holmes honestly looks so good in these photos! So young,” one person said, while a different user added: “TOTALLY agree! 20 years younger.”

“Katie Holmes on Glamour magazine is EVERYTHING I needed to see today. She gets more beautiful with time,” said another.

In the candid Glamour interview, Holmes offered a rare insight into her family life with 16-year-old daughter, Suri, who is reportedly estranged from her father, Tom Cruise.

The actress explained that she’s protective of her teenager, who grew up with paparazzi watching her every move.

“What has been really important for me with my daughter, because she was so visible at a young age, is I really like to protect her,” she said.

Holmes, who rarely speaks about her daughter in interviews, added that she is “grateful” to be Suri’s mother.

“She’s an incredible person,” Holmes said.

The public’s obsession with Suri blossomed from her parents’ – Holmes and Tom Cruise – unconventional relationship, which ended in 2011.

Cruise, 60, began to distance himself from his daughter following the couple’s divorce, and their relationship still hasn’t recovered to this day.

The mum-of-one – who is reportedly back on the market after calling it quits with Bobby Wooten III in December 2022 – also shared in the new interview that she “always” asks Suri to contribute something to her films, noting that the teenager’s cover of The Marcel’s Blue Moon was used in the opening credits of Holmes’ 2022 film Alone Together.

Suri also sings in Holmes’ upcoming directorial debut Rare Objects, an adaptation of Kathleen Tessaro’s novel of the same name.
