Tom Cruise cut daughter Suri from Christmas card, Brooke Shields says
Tom Cruise has cut his daughter Suri from the Christmas card he sends out each year in the latest revelation about their troubled relationship.
Tom Cruise has stopped sending Brooke Shields a cake each Christmas — but she doesn’t know “what happened”.
The actress told People she was “on the list for awhile” and “had a good 10-year run” getting the $126 bundt cake that Cruise sends his famous friends for the holidays.
“I got the coconut cake every year, which I was very happy [about],” she said.
Shields, 57, went on to laugh over the actor, 60, cutting his ex-wife Katie Holmes and their daughter, Suri, from his Christmas card.
“It was from them and Suri [at first], so it was the three of them, and then soon it was no Suri and no Katie and just Tom,” she explained. “Then it went from just Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped.”
The model clarified that the change happened in recent years and has nothing to do with her and Cruise’s past feud over her post-partum depression medication.
The Oscar nominee infamously called Shields “irresponsible” in 2005, with her clapping back at his “ridiculous rant”.
However, the duo moved on from the scandal and remained friends.
Not only was the “Suddenly Susan” alum invited to Cruise and Holmes’ “extraordinary” wedding in 2006, but her eldest daughter, Rowan, had a joint 1st birthday party with Suri the following year.
Holmes, 44, and Cruise divorced in 2012, and the “Top Gun: Maverick” star no longer has a relationship with their 16-year-old, a source told Page Six last month.
The insider noted that Cruise hasn’t seen Suri in a very long time.
As for Holmes, she told Variety last month how “wild” it feels that the teenager is nearly as old as she was when she began filming “Dawson’s Creek.”
The mother-daughter pair “had a good laugh” about the six-season WB show during the COVID-19 pandemic.
