This former Prison Break star, now married into one of Hollywood’s most famous families, suddenly looks like a whole new man.

A Hollywood hardman looks worlds away from his TV days after unveiling a wild new look.

Sixteen years after he first burst onto screens as a tattooed tough guy, the actor is almost unrecognisable these days as a silver‑haired, fully bearded stepdad to a pop star.

The 55-year-old actor was born in the UK but grew up in Australia before finding fame on US TV.

This Aussie actor has a whole new look.

That’s right, it’s none other than Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, who married Miley Cyrus‘ mum Tish in 2023.

But it’s a recent social media snap that has got fans talking.

Gone is the clean‑shaven scalp and ripped con‑on‑the‑run frame fans remember from the hit drama, in which he played Lincoln Burrows alongside co-star Wentworth Miller.

Dominic has now traded his buzz cut and in its place is slick backed silver hair and a full grey beard.

His softer ‘silver fox’ reinvention is a stark contrast to his tough‑as‑nails breakout role in the mid‑2000s.

And from some angles, you’d struggle to recognise the man who once fronted one of TV’s biggest drama series.

“Still getting used to you having this much hair,” said one fan.

While another user commented “Santa Claus.”

A third fan joked, “Santa Claus 20 yrs after prison .”

Many couldn’t believe the grizzled hipster in their feeds was the same bloke who spent entire seasons breaking out of high‑security jails.

In the early noughties, he’d moved to Hollywood and scored his big break on Prison Break.

Dominic’s makeover has gone down particularly well with new wife Tish, who seems to love the look.

In response to Dominic’s caption, “[Tish] she loves it when I’m pissed off,” the mother-of-five replied, “Baby, I love you so much. You’re so [fire emoji] when your pissed off….. which is most of the time.”

Though previously, she quipped in the comments of an earlier post, “I have no idea who this is?!? Bring my husband back.”

Dominic became a permanent fixture in the Cyrus clan after striking up a romance with Tish in 2022, although he previously dated her daughter Noah too which caused tensions at the time.

Tish and Dominic got together just months after her split from country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, tying the knot in an intimate Malibu ceremony the following year.

Purcell’s now married into a Hollywood royal family, with wife Tish Cyrus.

That makes Dominic stepdad to one of the world’s biggest pop stars, with Miley now calling the former TV hardman part of the family.

Tish also shares kids Trace, Brandi, Braison and Noah with her ex, giving the Prison Break favourite a ready‑made Hollywood brood.

Dominic also has four children from his first marriage to Rebecca Williamson – Joe, Audrey and twins Lily‑Rose and Augustus – with the younger generation following him into the industry.

Away from family life, Dominic has kept busy with new screen projects since hanging up Lincoln’s boots.

Recent credits include an upcoming TV series called Snatchback, which is in pre-production.
