They’re some of the most-followed WAGs on Instagram and now Bec Judd, Nadia Bartel and Megan Gale have opened up about their self-care routines during lockdown.

The Instagram stars featured in a new Instagram TV series dubbed “Unstoppable Mums”, hosted by Judd via her activewear line, Jaggad.

On it, Bartel revealed she had been balancing her WFH duties on fashion label Henne and e-store The Connection, with her role as mum to Aston and Henley.

“It has been a massive struggle, actually,” Bartel told Judd, when quizzed about how she has been handling self-isolation in her Melbourne home.

“It hasn’t slowed down for us at Henne particularly, we’re finding that people are buying online more than ever. So it’s super busy,” she added.

“I’ve been getting up early and doing a patch (of work) in the morning before they’re up and then at night time, I’m moving everything until after they go to bed. The middle of the day is just hectic. I try to form some type of routine. Kids do what they want to do.”

Bartel revealed she has been keeping fit by doing pilates classes via social media, doing “breath work” and meditation.

“It raises your energy level and brings a new sense of consciousness. It’s been great to release that negative stress and tension that you may hold on to,” Bartel said.

“Your breath is so important to how you take on the day.

“I’ve always tried to meditate. It is incredible, your whole mood gets changed.”

Like Gale and Judd, Bartel said she had been fitting in at-home workouts in between her other day-to-day tasks. “I find that’s the perfect time for me because a lot of them you don’t need to have any equipment with you, it’s almost like stand on the bench and do some leg lifts,” Bartel said.

“I’ve found that really helpful. Moving my body and trying to do something has been a massive help and makes me feel a lot better.”

Gale revealed she has been keeping fit via online yoga classes.

“I am a complete yoga buff, doesn’t mean I am good at it but I love it and I am really missing going to my yoga studio,” Gale said.

“Stealing those little moments where it might be that I’ll go for a walk or have a bath, throw down the yoga mat.

“They’re just little things that all add up and makes a difference.”

Judd chimed in: “Our homes are our gyms – a table or a chair.”

“I’ve been doing it at home, in my bedroom, on a rug and it has been amazing,” Judd added.

Judd also asked Gale about working from home on her skincare and lifestyle business, Mindful Life.

“For me, working from home is normal but having (her son) River home, and the home schooling … we definitely can’t complain,” Gale said.

Gale said she and her fiance, Survivor star and former AFL footballer Shaun Hampson, were splitting home schooling duties.

“There’s more to juggle in the day and we’re all adapting,” Gale mused.

“The whole day to day has been turned on its head and so I think now more than ever we need to carve out those minutes.

“Whatever you can grab is so good for the mind.”
