A Qantas flight has been turned around after it experienced engine issues midflight shortly after takeoff.
QF703 left Cairns International Airport at 2.19pm on Tuesday and had been due to arrive in Melbourne at 5.37pm.

The flight landed safely back in Cairns at 3.34pm.
No emergency services were required after the plane landed.
Qantas has been contacted for comment.
