There has never been a Liberal wife more Liberal wifey than Kristina Photios, Michael’s third bride, who has now quit the party because it isn’t reducing the planet’s temperature.

Naturally, her deep concerns were revealed to Fairfax:

The Liberal Party must move "back to the centre" and progressive members should stand up and be heard to ensure Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is not held hostage to the hard right of the party, Ms Photios told Fairfax Media.

Given Kristina’s notion of where the “centre” is, I’m guessing she doesn’t win many darts tournaments.

"The Prime Minister's job is to represent the entire country not just the conservative base and more than 70 per cent of Australians want to see action on climate change.”

We had an election on this issue in 2013, Kristina. Do you remember who won?

Ms Photios, a graduate of the selective Sydney Girls' High School who went on to roles with Macquarie Bank and Optus, said she was "terrified of climate change".

But not so terrified that she didn’t fly to Thailand for her big fancy wedding. Kristina’s marriage is an affront to Gaia and must be annulled – for the climate’s stake.
