Coalition minister defends Luke Foley
THE Coalition minister defended Luke Foley on Miranda Live, saying his comments about ‘white flight’ in western Sydney were accurate and there shouldn't be hysteria over the use of the phrase.
The NSW Opposition Leader has found support from a federal Coalition minister over his use of the phrase ‘white flight’.
Luke Foley retracted comments he made to the Daily Telegraph about “Anglo families” relocating from suburbs with high rates of immigration because of a lack of resources.

But Angus Taylor, the former assistant minister for cities who grew up in Cooma alongside Snowy Mountains immigrants backed Mr Foley.

He told Miranda Live “the people who don’t want to debate immigrant cohesion, want us to debate the words … the words don’t matter”.
The current Law Enforcement Minister said “there’s no doubt it’s happening”.
“There’s no question, we’re seeing this now.”
