The three youths had fled the scene.

Locals today took to Facebook to discuss the intriguing event.

“Happened last night, three boys set a father’s day card stand on fire in the party section,” one user wrote.

“I hope they catch them too. They were very pleased with themselves and running through the centre telling everyone they’d set fire to Kmart.”

Investigations are continuing. Information to Policelink on 131 444.
