No criminal charges will be laid against the ride operators at the Cairns show, after 25-year-old Darleen Wallace fell approximately 30m from The Hangover ride last month.
According to the Queensland Police Service, criminal investigations into the incident at Cairns Showgrounds on October 24 have concluded.

“No criminal charges have been preferred from a police perspective,” a statement from police said.
“The matter has now been referred to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.”
Ms Wallace, who works as a teacher aide at a state government school, plummeted to the ground while on the pendulum-style ride at the showground.
Workplace Health and Safety have not yet concluded their investigation into what led to Ms Wallace’s fall, telling The Courier-Mail earlier this month investigations of this nature could take up to six months to finalise.
On the day of the horror incident, emergency services scrambled to the scene, while terrified onlookers watched on- many unsure of how to help.
At the time, show-goers reported the ride took about one minute to come to a stop after Ms Wallace’s fall from the high-adrenaline ride.
Ms Wallace, who was in a critical condition after the fall, was stabilised at the scene before she was raced to hospital where she reportedly spent several days in a critical condition.
The Hang Over has two swinging pendulum arms that move on rotation at high speed great distances into the air.
Riders are held in their seats by safety bars.
According to a Cairns Hospital spokeswoman, Ms Wallace remains in hospital, where she is now in a stable condition.
